I am glad to say that we continue to be really busy and lately the theme has been MORE POWER! What started off as an experiment (for us) with a really cool group of guys from Wisconsin and their newly formed company, 7 Marine and their Cadillac CTS-V powered outboard engines a few years back is clearly way past the experimental stage for us and we have actually seen them begin to gain some really strong market share with our customer base. Since that first prototype set of engines that we put on a used 370 cuddy years ago we have now done a couple of 375 Center Consoles, a 375 Walk around, a 475 Panacea with triples and just this month a 475 Panacea with quads! It seemed fitting that we were the first company to work with the guys from 7 Marine and we were now the first to do the quad power plant set up as well. This does not count the several boats that we still have not built yet that also will be getting 7 Marine engines packages so I think it is safe to say that 7 Marine is not only no longer a cool experiment, they are here to stay. For the first time we will be at the Panama International boat Show later this month June 20-22. VP of Sales, Christian Gonzalez and our Office Manager, Charmaine Cleaves from our sales office in Dania, Florida at the Harbor Town Marina will be present representing Intrepid Powerboats. We have a small customer base in South America and we look forward to visiting them and to hopefully adding more customers from this area to our Intrepid Powerboats family. Our Senior VP, Mike Obolsky is making his rounds at some of the shows in the Great Lakes region this summer starting with the Bay Harbor In-Water Boat Show June 13th-15th. He will also be there for the Bay Harbor Vintage Car and Boat Show, June 19th-22nd with demo days being June 13th -22nd where he will have a 400 Cuddy and a 327 Cuddy. Be sure to take advantage of being able to meet Mike if you do not already know him. As everyone knows him as…..Mr. Intrepid!
With the kids being out of school and people going on vacations please know that if you are ever in our neck of the woods (Largo Florida to be exact, which is in the Tampa Bay area) please be sure to come by the factory and feel free to bring the kids and we will give you a plant tour of our manufacturing facility and show you how we build Intrepid boats from the ground up! It’s a neat way to see what separates us from the rest! We hope to see you soon! Please CLICK HERE to “LIKE” our page on Facebook for daily updates on what we’re doing here at the factory!
